Boil Water Notice Rescinded

On June 12, 2017, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required Lone Pine WSC/PWS 0010021, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of June 19, 2017.

If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact the office at 903-729-9660 or Don Sloan, Operator at 903-724-3090.

Well Update

We are back online pumping water and the Boil Water Notice has been rescinded. It is no longer necessary to boil your water.

Well Update

Well #1 pump was successfully installed late this afternoon. So grateful!

Tomorrow we will submit a water sample to the lab for testing and patiently await results. We ask that you continue to conserve water as Well #2 is still supplying the system with water.

Thank you for your continued patience. So close... will post again as we

have more news!

Well Progress Update

Correction/Update to yesterday's post. Everyone on the system should have some amount of water. We are still asking everyone to conserve water. Well #2 was only an electrical issue and is now back online supplying the system with water. We are having to switch back and forth between Well #1 and Well #2 tanks to supply everyone with water. The pump we pulled yesterday was from Well #1, and a new pump will be installed on Thursday. So hopefully by the weekend we will be back up and running at capacity. In the meantime, please conserve water so all customers will have some water. Thank you for your prayers and community support. If any of your neighbors have not signed up for alerts on this website, you might encourge them to do so. Thank you and have a Blessed Day!

Boil Water Notice

Due to low distribution pressure, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required Lone Pine WSC/PWS 0010021  to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g. washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc.) Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria and all customers should follow these directions.

To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.

In lieu of boiling, induviduals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking or human consumption purposes.

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the public water system officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Once the boil water notice is no longer in effect,we will issue a notice to customers that rescinds the boil water notice in a manner similar to this notice.

If you have further questions, please call the office at 903-729-9660 or our operator, Don Sloan at 903-724-3090.

Well Progress Update

Well # 2 Update - We were able to pull the well pump out of the well today. It will be tomorrow or Wednesday before the work is completed. You may have intermittent water due to our trying to keep the tanks full. Use sparingly!!! We are also issuing a boil water notice for consumption due to the low pressure differences.

Well #1 & Well #2 Down

Both of our wells are down. We are in the process of pulling Well #2. At this time we are not sure when the water will be back on. Sorry for the inconvenience. Check back for updates. Prayers would be good!

Conserve Water

Our Well #1 went down today and we are asking all our members to conserve water until this issue is resolved.
